Diary Post 1 - Problems.
When i said that i wanted to do my filming to a dew friends most seemed really up for it, this did not last as after several attempts to contact one of my friends who was supposed to be portraying the main character of the video and also being let down a total number of 4 times i eventually went round to his house to ask if he really wanted to do this or not, asking for a simple yes or no. Hearing this my "friend" proceeded to swear at me telling me that i was in the wrong and who was i to tell him what to do, after this and a few blows being traded, i decided not to carry on filming or talking to him, therefore i was stuck without a main character, not only this but after hearing about this commotion my friends then did not want to do the video also. So due to these unforeseen events i decided to film, poorly, some footage on my own. i am still currently looking for people to appear in my video, hopefully i will have more luck this time...

Shot List.
Due to the style and also vibe i want to give the video i am using a point of view shot (P.O.V) , to give the piece an intimate feel almost liek you are really there with these guys on a night out. An example of a P.O.V shot is given below:
Another shot i would like to achieve would be a snorri cam shot, mainly due to the fact again that i am hoping to achieve a certain style, almost a documentary feel to it but also a styalised feel, and again the snorricam shot adding to it being more personal to the viewer, here is an example of a a snorricam shot:
Also as well as these being my two main shots and the shot i am looking to use the most, i am also looking to incorporate some mid shots and also some real close ups like of the drink that one of the boys is drinking...

0.00 - 0.05 - Opening - Point of view shot( P.O.V), as he turns he sees his friends, still with the P.O.V shot.
0.05 - 0.08 - Cut to main character calling over taxi - P.O.V shot.
0.08 - 0.12 - Cut to main character talking to taxi driver - Mid shot.
0.12 - 0.17 - Cut to main character talking to camera - P.O.V shot.
0.17 - 0.25 - Cut to inside of taxi with main character talking to cabbie - P.O.V shot.
0.25 - 0.28 - Cut to inside of bar area with main character talking to camera - P.O.V shot.
0.28 - 0.34 - Camera drifts over and focuses on women in green dress - P.O.V shot.
0.34 - 0.38 - Camera drifts back to main character talking to camera again - P.O.V shot.
0.38 - 0.39 - Cut to man leaning against the bar - Wide shot.
0.39 - 0.41 - Cut to shot of man hand holding drink - Extreme close up.
0.41 - 0.43 - Cut then to shot of man talking to woman in green dress - Over the shoulder shot.
0.43 - 0.47 - Cut back to main character moaning with angry face - P.O.V shot.
0.47 - 0.59 - Cut to inside of taxi main character calling to the cabbie where to go and looking annoyed - P.O.V shot.
0.59 - 1.16 - Cut to main character and 2 mates leaning against the bar with a few bruises and cuts on their faces laughing and looking smug telling the camera about just having a fight - P.O.V shot.
1.16 - 1.20 - Cuts to a flashback of main character shouting and looking aggressive - Snorri cam shot.
1.20 - 1.28 - Cuts to main character shouting at the other group of guys who are also shouting back - Over the shoulder shot.
1.28 - 1.32 - Cut to main character and friends shouting and looking aggressive - Mid shot, wide angle.
1.32 - 1.38 - Cut to shot over looking the 2 groups coming together and fighting while using a CCTV camera effect - God's eye shot/ CCTV camera P.O.V.
1.38 - 1.44 - Cuts to main character fighting other men - Snorri cam shot.
1.44 - 1.49 - Cuts back to the main character at the bar laughing again and looking rather happy with himself - P.O.V shot.
1.49 - 1.51 - Cuts to the door of the bar being pushed open with the men who they had had a fight with them - Enigma shot/mid shot.
1.51 - 1.57 - The main character and mates running out of bar out into the street - P.O.V shot.
1.57 - 2.05 - The main character points out taxi shouting and running after it with the others doing the same - P.O.V shot.
2.05 - 2.08 - Cuts to a shot of the camera swinging round almost like it is looking behind it at the men chasing them all running towards the camera - P.O.V shot.
2.08 - 2.13 - Camera swings back round to look at the taxi as he runs and jumps in with his friends already inside telling him to hurry up - P.O.V shot.
2.13 - 2.19 - Cuts to the camera inside the taxi looking out of the window at the men who are chasing them, the men get to the door and try the handle but it fails - P.O.V shot.
2.19 - 2.21 - Camera swings round to the main character who is sitting there smiling nervously and slyly and the video ends with him giving the camera a cheeky wink and the shot fade to black - P.O.V shot.
